Buckinghamshire House
Gerrards Cross, England. In progress.
A 1920s house in London’s village hinterland, previously extended in a way that left it working against itself — long corridors and a layout that didn't quite flow.
Our client sought more defined functional clarity and connection for a young, growing family, without inheriting the same circulation problems.
The design proposal rethinks the house from the inside out, flipping the existing staircase to unlock a new sense of circulation and, with it, concentrating views onto a garden that had never really been part of the house before.
